We just released a beautiful design update for our Habits Pro app

Our popular habits and goals tracker has a new face! We put a lot of love and work into it. Let us know how you like the new design. We think it is a pleasure to use this iPhone and iPad top Productivity app. Now, as it often happens with substantial updates, one or two bugs might slip through testing. We appreciate your help and patience in finding and fixing those. Here is the damage: the Badge counter does not work for some users. And most iPad users run into issues if they use the app in any other orientation than Portrait mode. We already submitted a fix to Apple within 24h hours of the update and asked for an expedited review. Thanks for hanging in there. Here is a link to our Habits Pro app preview video. Enjoy! TracknShare – Winner of “In Search of the Perfect Quantified-Self App”

TracknShare was the winner of an excellent show down of self-tracking apps. To me this is to this date the most systematic assessment of the usefulness and usability of self-tracking apps. The assessment criteria tell a story of how to approach self-tracking. I am citing those here. All the best with your own Quantified Self Project! Criteria from the Measured Me Blog: “The app has to be customizable when it comes to measurement scale. Depending on the type of question, I should be able to log data using either Boolean (yes/no), ordinal (e.g., not-much/somewhat/.. /very much,), continuous (e.g., weight or cost), categorical (e.g., cardio type: stationary bike, elliptical or treadmill), or n-point Likert scale (e.g., 7-point scale). In other words, the app should be able to handle the mix of variables of various measurement types. The app has to offer data portability. I should be able to export data in “csv” or other common format, any time I want, so I can analyze and manipulate it myself. Sorry, but showing me only those pretty charts and trend lines simply won’t do. And remember: that’s my data. I should not pay to access it. The app has to be truly mobile. That is, it should be able to work in an offline mode, without wireless or WiFi signal (e.g., on subway), at least at the moment of the data entry. If I want a web app, I will use my computer.” These thoughts express exactly what we had in mind when we initially designed TracknShare. Its sister apps Autism Tracker, Habits Pro, Mindful Eating Tracker, Bowel Mover Pro, Gratitude & Happiness...

Habits Pro review

I wanted to share this user review of Habits Pro for iPhone and iPad with you. This app is simply to use and at the same time as powerful as you want to make it. Instead of trying to explain it myself I let our users speak: “I’ve tried a number of habit tracking apps and I like this one the best. One of the biggest things I like about this app is how easy it is to see what you want to track. Most of the other apps had really tiny font with no icons, just boring and overall difficult to use. This one is very fast because the icons are bold and the text is easy to read. A few simple clicks and you’re done recording. This is a very versatile app. You can choose a number of formats for tracking: yes/no; counter (number of times you did something); number; levels; etc. You can also enter in multiple entries throughout the day and choose to add up the entries, which is very beneficial for some habits. For example, if you want to track how many calories you take in, you can create a food entry using the “number” choice and choose to “add up the entries” for the day, week, or month. You simply click the icon on the tracking screen and it automatically creates an entry based on date/time (which you can adjust). There is a space for a notation (maybe what you ate), then you enter the calories as the number and enter it. You can do this throughout the day and the app will...

Redmond Pie Names Habits Pro the “Ultimate $5 App”

We are happy to hear from Technology Site Redmond Pie about Habits Pro! “the app is unlike many to-the-point goal trackers, offering plenty of tweaks and settings to set up an elaborate goal achieving plan. Users can specify which days would be better suited to some tasks that build on to achieving a goal.” Link Habits Pro became one of the most downloaded Productivity apps this week, right behind Dropbox and before Evernote. Thanks to all the folks you let others know about Habits Pro. Spread the word, have a great 2015, and keep on tracking!...

Try it out, I especially love that new feature: it shows when I did what and how I felt. Also, we added: Counter item = just one tap to increment by 1 Zoomable graphs Key pad for number entry Add levels and weights when creating custom scales, e.g., A+ = 4.25 If you like the update, please write a review and let others know about it.
